#06

It's at this point in my rebinding journey I really hit a road bump. There was a long time between my 5th rebind and this one because I ended up having cataract surgery and a retina detachment. I did not bounce back from either one quickly, and after the retina detachment, I was hesitant to even get started because it was so difficult to see and focus. Not only that, I didn't want to risk ruining a bunch of leather and materials just because I wanted to get going again.

It was months before I started back up again and by the time I felt confident enough, it truly felt like I was starting all over at square one. However, I'm glad I didn't let these setbacks stop me because, after this rebind, I could actually tell I was getting better at my craft which came as a huge surprise to me. (I didn't do a dedicated video of this one. Instead I added it to a video of a handful of Bibles and projects I did. You can watch it here.)
