Green leather Bible

#01

I got started with rebinding by asking friends and family members to donate any Bibles they had around that they did not want anymore. The first one I recieved came from a work friend who had just bought another Bible and was so happy I was starting this hobby that she gave me her old one. The original cover was green and, would you know it, the first leather I ever bought to do rebinds was green. I couldn't ignore that sign from the Lord!

My first rebind holds a special place in my heart because, well, it's the first one! I'll never forget sweating over this little NIV Thinline as I made my first steps into rebinding.
